A good friend and real supporter of us, just dropped his mix tape “I Wanna Work with Quik”. It really took me back to the days when Quik was always spinning on the radio. I feel like Quiks music did what all great music does, it provokes vivid memories and feelings of good times.

“Rappers have always been quick to put Kanye West on a song. Early on some probably did it as a means to getting one of his beats. Later, maybe ’cause he was a nice guy. Then, obviously, it was because he was a superstar and selling point. But we always secretly thought a part of it was that these rappers, competitive as they are, just didn’t feel threatened by ‘Ye, lyrically. Take Jay-Z, for example, who just threw out “Run This Town”, the new single off Blueprint 3 featuring none other than Kanye West. Well guess what, Big Homie? Lil bro here fucked around and murdered you on your own shit!Rappers have always been quick to put Kanye West on a song. Early on some probably did it as a means to getting one of his beats. I am glad some one agrees with me, Ye killed on that “run this town” joint now his performance has sparked a whole list of songs he was featured on and stole the scene. Here you can read and listen to the songs when Kanye stole the show . Full Article.
I saw these Supras online and I was determined to get them for this saturdays sneaker con. I looked all over the net for the best price and Karmaloop.com was the lowest seller, technically. I searched for the shoes in google and a bunch of results were found, the top search said they had a code to get 20% off which seemed to be a decent discount. The 20% discount gave me $26 off the original price of $130 bucks, but the shipping made it $145, not low enough. Now, being the penny saver that I am I search further on the net and found the HOTDEALS code that gave me a 20% discount, but wait there’s more, it also added free shipping (with a purchase over $100). Since I saved sooooo much money I said “fuck it” and threw in the 2 day shipping for 10 bucks which brought my grand total to $112.70 a discount of over $40, well $41 to be exact. UPS delivered the shoes two days later exactly and damn straight they were worth the money.
