Hiroshima, atomic bombs, memorials, and peace day – August 6th
August 6th marks the 64th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima city in 1945 to end World War II. The blast killed 140,000 instantly and many more from the nuclear fallout, although war is a terrible thing, it is sometimes a necessary evil. If the A-bomb’s destruction was never witnessed back then there would be a greater chance of its use in today’s modern world.
